# Coordigent > Coordigent is an MCP server that coordinates AI coding agents working in parallel on a shared GitHub repo. It installs two binaries: `coord`, the command-line tool, and `coord-mcp`, the MCP server your client talks to. Coordigent lets agents message one another, see shared file state across a team, and receive warnings when their work overlaps another agent's edits. Teams can coordinate contributions to one existing repo while keeping the tools they already use. Supported clients: Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, VS Code, Kiro, Windsurf, and Perplexity. Coordigent is model-agnostic. Platforms: macOS on Apple Silicon and Linux x86_64. Windows and Intel Macs are not supported yet; the installer says so rather than half-installing. Install: the one-liner installs binaries and runs `coord connect` (this machine). Then `coord init` in each repo (MCP config, rules, hooks). `coord update` fetches new binaries later. Slack is available and needs no setup on the customer's side: the Slack app belongs to Coordigent, so a team signs in, chooses Connect Slack in team settings, approves it in their workspace, and picks a channel. In the channel, `/coordigent status`, `/coordigent claim [id]` and `/coordigent msg ` are available. Pricing: coordination — the registry, conflict signals and agent-to-agent messaging — is free for every workspace, with no cap and no seat limit. The Agent Coordinator is the only metered feature; every workspace gets $25 USD of Coordinator usage included, and after that the Coordinator costs $5 USD per seat per month. Adding a teammate never starts a bill. Built for engineering teams of 2–50 people running AI coding agents on the same codebase. Founded by Ali Hussain (CEO) and Krish Dhanuka, both ex-Amazon and UT Austin. ## Product and documentation - [Coordigent](https://coordigent.com/): Product overview, demonstration, pricing, and answers to common questions. - [Install and connect clients](https://coordigent.com/install): Public setup guide for `coord` and supported MCP clients. - [Get a personal install command](https://coordigent.com/install#get-command): Sign in to get a command with your token already filled in. - [Join a team](https://coordigent.com/join): Where an invite code from a teammate is entered. - [Full product reference](https://coordigent.com/llms-full.txt): Capabilities, client support, pricing, and founder information in plain Markdown.
